Sheltered Housing Leaflet 2
The leaflet below has been distributed to all Sheltered Housing Courts, providing an update on the new government guidelines in regard to Covid-19.
Leaflet was based on the questions from tenants, which were answered during Brunton Court TA last open meeting by James Coutts (ELC Service Manager) and Liz Ritchie (Senior Sheltered Housing Officer).
Sheltered Housing Leaflet 1
Brunton Court Tenants Association have asked ELTRP to send out the leaflet below to help support tenants in the Sheltered Housing complexes.

Update:
Brunton Court Tenants Association (BCTA) have been addressing issues and organising activities for the residents of Brunton Court for many years. They have a core Committee of 12 residents, with Pat MacRae as the Chair, James Anderson as the Secretary and Marlene Clarke as the new Treasurer.
Issues that have arose recently include:
Recycling - there is some concern about the limited recycling space for all of the 38 properties at Brunton Court. The Committee are working with ELC to try and improve this.
Laundry Room - This is now kept clean and tidy. If residents/carers could remember to clean the filters before and after use it would benefit everyone.
New Furniture - this is ongoing.
New TV - Tescos are very kindly donating a TV to Brunton Court.
Local Housing Partnership - after many discussions, a proposal is with the LHP to update the carpark at the front of the building.
The Committee work extremely hard to listen to all the residents and try their utmost to address them with ELC.
Achievements:
The Committee are always working to improve their community and organising new activities for everyone with some great nights achieved - Elvis, Rod Stewart, Christmas, Daffodil and Strawberry Teas and much more....
