ELTRP was established in 1999 as the umbrella organisation for tenants and residents groups in East Lothian. We promote and represent the rights of tenants and residents in East Lothian. 

  • We work with East Lothian Council to help improve services received by tenants and residents
  • We seek the views of tenants and residents on issues, so we often hold consultation event
  • We provide training and information sessions to assist groups in participating in decision making
  • We offer a range of practical assistance, such as stationery, photocopying, transport and childcare

Executive Committee

ELTRP is run by an Executive Committee of volunteers from tenants and residents groups. ​They are elected annually by ELTRP members at our AGM.

ELTRP is supported by staff from the Tenants Information Service.
TIS brings together the knowledge and skills to help tenants and landlords work together more effectively throughout Scotland.
