WPTRA is made up of tenants and residents in the following streets:
Windsor Park Windsor Park Terrace Windsor Park Place Windsor Park Drive Linkfield Road Ashgrove Ashgrove View Ashgrove Place Pinkie Road: No.s 60-164 From 1996 to November 2018 Windsor Park had an active Tenants and Residents Association, this represented the Community in conjunction with East Lothian Tenants and Residents Panel. Being involved in the association gives you an active part in decision making with regards to Housing and Environmental issues and working in partnership with East Lothian Council. One of our first projects was a swing park where children in the area were involved in the content and design. There were issues with regards to back lanes hence gates were put in place and keys issued and overgrown green areas attended to. In order to bring the community together we had street parties celebrating special occasions such as the Queen’ Golden Jubilee and Royal Weddings. Pinkie St. Peter’s School was given Trophies to present to Pupils for achievement in education and sport. In the present climate of Covid-19 it is more important that communities work together not only on housing and environmental issues but also in the community - looking out for our neighbours’ and each other. Some members of the community are interested in setting up the group again; if you would like to be part of a Tenants’ and Residents Association in the Windsor Park area please get in touch.
